The Transparency Standard

A track record is only worth what you can verify. Below is a neutral checklist you can apply to any performance claim — including this one. Every answer here describes Vaapad Capital's own disclosure of the founder's own Interactive Brokers account, and links to the exact page where you can check it yourself.

Where something is not yet done, it says so plainly rather than implying otherwise.

  • Where do the numbers come from?

A single, real Interactive Brokers account belonging to the founder. The equity curve and closed-trade ledger are reconciled trade-by-trade against IBKR Flex statements — not a spreadsheet, not a screenshot, not a simulated backtest.

    See the reconciliation steps
  • Are the losing trades shown too?

Yes. The Call Ledger discloses every fully round-tripped position — winners and losers alike — with hold-return, drawdown-in-hold and streaks. Nothing is cherry-picked out.

    Open the Call Ledger
  • Can you check the math yourself?

Yes. The exact Sharpe / Sortino / Calmar / volatility / max-drawdown formulas are published, including the daily-return definition, the 252-day annualisation and the suppression rules for thin samples.

    Read the formulas
  • Do you say when the data is stale?

Yes. Every live surface carries a data-state pill — LIVE, STALE, FALLBACK or SHADOW — so you always know whether a number is current, delayed, or served from a reconciled fallback.

    See the data-state machine
  • Do you disclose what you're researching but do NOT own?

Yes. The Radar lists names under research that are explicitly not held, each with a dated note and a thesis stage — an on-the-record research log, separate from the live book.

    See what's on the radar
  • Is the macro context public and sourced?

Yes. The Macro desk uses public benchmarks (real rates, DXY, metals, energy) and a book-scoped catalyst calendar. Facts are attributed; no economic print is invented.

    Open the Macro desk
  • Is any of it dressed up as advice?

No. Everything is retrospective and descriptive disclosure of the founder's own account. Nothing is investment advice, asset management, or a solicitation — and the site states so on every surface.

    Read the disclaimer
  • How is your payment data handled?

Checkout runs entirely on Stripe's hosted, PCI-DSS Level 1 infrastructure. Card details are entered on Stripe's servers and never touch ours.

    Read the security notes
  • Is there a third-party audit of the track record?

Not yet. The record is self-reconciled against IBKR Flex and fully inspectable, but it is not currently attested by an independent auditor. This is disclosed honestly rather than implied — an independent attestation is a roadmap item, not a present claim.

Everything on this page describes the founder's own personal trading account and publicly available benchmarks, retrospectively and factually. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. Nothing here is investment advice, asset management, or a solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument.Alle Angaben beschreiben rückblickend und sachlich das persönliche Handelskonto des Gründers sowie öffentliche Benchmarks.
