## Alvo Minerals — Copper-Zinc VMS With an REE Option
_Descriptive field note on the position — not investment advice, no price targets._
Alvo Minerals is a critical-minerals explorer in central Brazil with two legs: a volcanogenic-massive-sulphide (VMS) deposit for copper and zinc (Palma) and two IAC projects for rare earths. The appeal is that an existing resource forms the hard core, while the REE projects provide the optionality.
### Thesis
A pure explorer lives on hope; Alvo has an anchor. Palma is already a reported JORC resource (7.6 Mt @ 2.0% CuEq) with a clear expansion path — VTEM targets around the known mineralization give the step-out drilling direction. On top sits the REE optionality of the Bluebush and Ipora IAC projects. Two commodity baskets, both central to energy-transition demand.
### Catalysts
- Palma step-out drilling on VTEM targets.
- Resource upgrade at Palma.
- First REE IAC results (Bluebush & Ipora).
### Risks
- Exploration stage: the expansion path is still to be proven.
- Brazil: permit risk.
- Capital requirement.
